For Online Services
We use alt text and captions
We offer a variety of formats for online content which can be, where available
some plain text, video, audio, and captioned. This is to support the use of e-reader
software and to maximise accessibility for different learning styles and needs.
The option to have videos off zoom is always available.
We offer opportunity for assessment processes to be completed online, or via alternative methods such as WhatsApp voice notes, or handwritten.
For Face-to-Face Services
We will always share info access of venues we work with or in.
We ask about any additional needs and capture pronouns (optionally)when we onboard our clients and team members.
We also offer an option for you to request anything that makes your visit more comfortable.
The team are neurodivergent aware
Our building has an accessible gender free toilet which all contain sanitary bins and personal care items including menstrual items and incontinence pads.
Nursing mothers and parents are welcome to nurse during the treatment or use the waiting room before or after. Changing tables are available in the accessible toilet on the ground floor.
We are pregnancy aware and will work with you to create a safe and comfortable plan for your treatment.
We have filtered water available at all times.
Babies and children are welcome, but we recognise this needs to be balanced with safe access and ask that they can be safely supervised.
Guide and Therapy Dogs are permitted and are welcome to accompany you to your treatment.
The temperature of the treatment rooms is ambient and we also have cold and hot packs available, and a heated beauty couch if required.
Music is played in the rooms but can be turned down of off. You are also welcome to wear headphones, loops or request any type of music you wish to listen to.
A silent service is available upon request where we will only ask you questions relevant to the service being offered.
Fidget toys are available, and you are welcome to bring your own.
Our beauty couches hold up to 150kg, or 23 stone. We appreciate this can be a sensitive subject, and will try our best to accommodate you if you exceed this weight restriction. We request that if you are nearing it, you inform us before your appointment. This keeps you safe from a fall, or a treatment couch bending or breaking.
We have a folding wheelchair ramp for the front door, please inform us if you need to use it.
We have a fully accessible toilet on the ground floor, with a waste bin and sanitary bin which may be used for stomas. We are listed as a stoma friendly toilet on Stoma Friendly Toilets Finder - Colostomy UK
We don’t have covered parking nearby, but our sibling company, The Beauty Guru at MediaCity does. This is useful for electric wheelchair users.
